My
Story

Hi, I’m Ella-Grace,

I grew up just outside Blackpool in a working-class family in the North. My mum worked three jobs to give me the opportunities she never had, and watching her do that shaped my drive, resilience, and work ethic from an early age. My career began young, from presenting for CITV at just 12, to playing a controversial child role on Coronation Street, and later starring in feature films and major productions for Sky One and ITV.

Behind the scenes, things were not always easy. I was badly bullied, and by 15 the pressure led to a diagnosis of severe OCD. Those early experiences were challenging, but they planted the seed for something bigger. I began to understand how powerful confidence, mindset, and support can be, especially for young people.

At 17, I founded a social enterprise called EGG to give working-class children fair access to performing arts opportunities. My goal was simple: to break down barriers and create spaces where young people could thrive, regardless of background. From the age of 18, my life took another turn when I experienced significant trauma and was diagnosed with both a chronic pain condition and an autoimmune disease. I have since undergone five major operations, and I live with the impact of those conditions every day.

Despite this, my commitment to impact only deepened. I partnered with my parents’ charity, Streetwise, and together we have helped transform the lives of over 144,000 people. By 21, I was recognised as a changemaker, and my work continued to grow nationally and internationally.

Alongside this, I began my own healing journey. I completed a Level 3 qualification in CBT and trained in holistic wellbeing and mindset practices, which I now use in my work and teach to the ten teenage girls I mentor each week. I have volunteered over 400 hours with them, and seeing their confidence and lives change is one of the greatest joys of my life.

My work has been recognised through a number of awards and honours, including the Fylde Health and Wellbeing Award 2023, the Virgin Young Changemaker Award, the Common Purpose Under 25 Global Legacy Award, and Lancashire Young Citizen. I am an AMR Leadership Fellow, an Ashoka Youth Changemaker, a UN Delegate for the Commission on the Status of Women, and was named on the Future List 2026.

Today, as a Performance and Wellbeing Consultant at Gracia, I bring together my background in performing arts, neuroscience, leadership, and lived experience. I work across sport, business, and everyday life, specialising in confidence, wellbeing, communication, and charisma. My focus is on helping individuals and teams feel calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and show up as their best selves using the power of perfomring arts.

It's also a pleasure to speak all over the world about my story and use it to inspire others.

Alongside my legacy work and social impact activism, I am deeply passionate about ensuring Gen Z has a strong voice in activism and changemaking. I am now stepping slightly away from frontline delivery of 17 charity projects to focus on leading and using my experience and story to empower others at scale Aswell as influence systems change.

The mission is simple. I want people to thrive.

I want to help individuals unlock their potential by strengthening confidence, communication, charisma, and mental health. I want to see teams inspired, barriers broken, and people winning in life, no matter their circumstances.
